A group in South Africa is operating a basketball leadership program for young African women.
Coach
African Grassroot Hoops is a development organization based in Cape Town. It is working to get more females to play basketball but, also, to coach teams in the sport. The group’s director says basketball is growing in Africa.
Coach means to train and support someone in a skill. A coach can be helpful in any effort, not just sports.
