A campaign is underway across Britain for bell ringers.
Coronation
The campaign is called “Ring for the King.” The idea is to get people trained as bell ringers in every church in the country for the coronation of King Charles III in May.
A coronation is the act of placing a crown on a royal person’s head to give them the formal title of king or queen. A coronation includes the whole ceremony of the crowning. It can also be a situation in which somebody gains a top position without competition.
