Some European countries have restored COVID-19 restrictions to contain a rising number of cases. The head of the World Health Organization says “pandemic fatigue is real… but we must not give up.”
Fatigue is extreme tiredness or lack of energy.
Fatigue can also describe a growing condition of indifference or disinterest in a continuing situation.
