Welcome to English in a Minute from home!
If you spend time away from home, you might write emails, text messages or even letters to your loved ones. But, what does it mean if something is “nothing to write home about?”
Speaker A: Jonathan, have you tried the new pizza made with noodles, the pizzoodle?
Speaker B: I have and, honestly, it’s nothing to write home about. Not worth the price or the two hour wait in line!
Speaker A: What?!

And that’s English in a Minute!
