ElliQ was popular at a meeting about new technologies in Portugal. Its creater described ElliQ as a proactive device taht helps older adults do things for their wellness.
Proactive means to take action based on what you expect to happen. It is the opposite of reactive. A proactive person – or device – is often seeking to prevent or avoid a possible problem.
