UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres called on richer polluting nations to come to the aid of poorer countries dealing with the effects of heat-trapping gasses. He also urged leaders to place importance on renewable energy.
In this example, ‘renewable’ energy produces electricity from natural processes. This includes sunlight, wind, the movement of water and heat under the earth’s surface.
