Brazilian Police recently rescued four Nigerian migrants on a ship in Brazil’s port of Vitoria.
Stowaway
The men survived fourteen days on the cargo ship by hiding on a large piece of steel. After 10 days, they had no food. A shelter worker in Brazil said this was the most dangerous case of stowaways he had ever seen.
A stowaway is someone who hides on a ship, airplane, or other vehicle to travel secretly. Most stowaways are traveling in the hope of making a better life for themselves.
