The wind is windy. If you throw something into it, like these feathers, they blow away. But what happens when you throw caution to the wind? Let’s listen.

Throw Caution to the Wind

Speaker A: Dan, I heard you are finally going to climb Mt. Everest. That is amazing!
Speaker B: I changed my mind. I’m just not ready.
Speaker A: Now is not the time to be careful, Dan. Throw caution to the wind!
Speaker B: Caution keeps us alive. I like being alive.

When we throw caution to the wind, we stop being careful about something. We take a very brave step to do something that could result in failure.
